Information Security Manager

We are looking to recruit a qualified individual to fill the role of Information Security Manager who will report to the IT Director.

Role Purpose:

• The Information Security Manager will take the lead and provide a focal point for security and information risk compliance.
• The Information Security Manager will be responsible for strategy to develop and improve information security in line with BDO Global Information Security and Privacy Policies and Requirements.

Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain the information security policy and accompanying standards, procedures, and guidance
• To develop and deliver a programme of planned compliance reviews and ensure any gaps are addressed
• To promote security awareness by developing and implementing an awareness and training programme
• To investigate security incidents in accordance with incident management standards.
• Keep abreast with IT Security, Data Privacy, and related trends.
• The Successful applicant will be likely to have the following qualities:
• A good working knowledge of information security including ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Standard
• Ability to lead and deliver change and influence at senior levels on matters relating to security and information risk
• Track record working in a similar IT environment
• A good working knowledge of information security including ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Standard.

Education:

• Relevant IT Related degree or substantial work experience at a level demonstrating graduate ability.
• Professional Certification such as CISA, CRISK, CISM, and CISSP ISO/IEC 27001.
• Full membership of the Information Communication Technology Association of Zambia
