JOB SUMMARY:
Provide the full scope dental services which fall under his/her field of training including but not limited to: Diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, health information and education of all dental patients.
In addition, the Dentist/Dental Surgeon is a member of the St John’s Medical Centre’s team. In that capacity, he/she is expected to be familiar and embrace the philosophy, goals and strategies of the institution and work in collaboration with other team members to achieve them.
He/she must be cognizant of, and comply with rules and regulations of both the institution and the profession.
JOB SCHEDULE:
1.Full time: 5 office weekdays and call-outs outside working hours
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Coordinate referrals for services not offered within St John’s Medical Centre
2.Participate in hospital’s outreaches on-site and off-site campaigns
3.Participate in peer reviews, quality assurance, clinical and non-clinical meetings
4.Assist in updating clinical practices protocols and supervision and mentorship of junior staff members.
Qualifications: DEGREE IN DENTISTRY/DENTAL SURGERY
Affiliation: HPCZ-Specialist register
Valid practicing license
Minimum of two years post qualification professional experience.
