An Emerging and Fast growing Printing Company seeks the services of (1) Printer/ Graphic Designer and (2) Marketing ExecutivesMarketing Executives (x2)

We are seeking for passionate and creative Marketing Executives to join our dynamic Team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that promote our printing services, enhance our brand presence, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns for print, billboards, digital media, etc
  • Coordinate with the design team to create compelling advertising materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, identify trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective brand strategies to enhance the Company’s positioning and visibility in the market, ensuring a competitive advantage
  • Manage social media platforms and company website content
  • Organize promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with a large portfolio of government, parastatal, private companies and advertising partners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role in the printing industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including web press and large FORMAT printing
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Printer/ Graphics Designer (x1)

JOB DETAILS:

  • The overrall responsibility of the Printer will be to ensure that all printing jobs are done professionally, efficiently and effectively to the high standards and expectation of both the Clients and company.
  • In addition the Printer must be able to design and print on large format and other available printing machines.
  • The technician should organize timely checks and maintenance of all the printing equipment.
  • The professional will have to identify and resolve malfunctions, and hardware failures.
  • They have to keep themselves updated with the training activities of new software and other equipment.
  • It is their responsibility to install any new software and upgrade the existing one.
  • They should have a good understanding of laser printers and their components as well as state of the art of new machines
  • The Printer Technician must make sure that the maintenance and service activities will not disturb the regular workflow.
  • They have to keep checking on the defective parts and replace them from time to time.
  • The professional should also keep in mind to check if the paper is fixed appropriately in the printer.
  • They should have a good understanding of all hardware and software-related issues of printers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • A Printer Technician’s first and foremost duty is to install the printers and configure them on the network.
  • If supplemental parts are required to keep the printer running, the Printer Technicians might be responsible for uninstalling and installing those parts.
  • Technicians have to ensure materials are loaded correctly in all printers to minimize jams and reduce maintenance costs.
  • In case of a mechanical issue, the Printer Technician repairs and replaces faulty parts.
  • Keeping track of the ink levels in the printer cartridges daily allows the Printer Technician to replace /ink cartridges as necessary.
  • The Printer Technician must know how to maintain large format printers and Xerox Printers
  • Ensuring that new software applications as well as advancements in printing hardware and regular maintenance is maintained
  • Apart from the regular servicing and replacement, the Printer Technician might also troubleshoot network configuration issues for the network printers to function properly.

Typical Job Description:

  • Knowledge of Basic Networking.
  • Computer and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in the maintenance and repair of printers manufactured by Xtreme, Xerox and other printing press.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
  • Provide accurate feedback with close call information, parts usage reporting, and customer meter readings.
  • Must be able to problem-solve, conduct is written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and box

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring that all printing works are done within time.
  • Preparing finished artwork by operating necessary equipment and software
  • Planning concepts by designing relevant information and materials (conceptualizing)
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangements, size, type and style and submitting them for approval
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
  • Communicating with clients about layout and designs
  • Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites with software such as photoshop. Corel Drawx7, etc.
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
  • Developing professional artworks in readiness for printing
  • Maintaining positive business relationship with customers to maximize sales
  • Ensuring that monthly reports are submitted on 5th of every month for management review and action
  • Any other duty assigned by the supervisor

Educational Background:

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a Diploma in Graphics Designing and Printing
  • Must have a grade 12 School certificate or equivalent
  • Must have a relevant tertiary certificate in the same field.
  • Have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Proficient knowledge in designing software i.e., Photoshop, Corel Draw and Adobe illustrator will be an added advantage.
  • High typing speed at least 30 word per minute

Job Experience:

No much experience is required though candidates that are competent or have operated an extreme G3202 13200 Large Format Printer will have an upper advantage.
