mothers2mothers Zambia seeks to recruit a PMTCT Coordinator for the JSI led, USAID Supporting an AIDS-Free Era (SAFE) program in Zambia. The five-year project will work to reduce HIV mortality, morbidity and transmission, while improving nutrition outcomes and family planning integration in three provinces: Central, Copperbelt, and North-Western.

USAID SAFE will works with the GRZ, private sector and civil society institutions at the national, provincial, and district level to increase access to ART for HIV positive adults and children, reduce the incidence of new infections, improve Nutritional Assessment, Counseling and Services (NACS) and family planning services, and increase the capacity of local health institutions to better serve affected populations.

The Provincial PMTCT Coordinator will oversee the implementation of quality m2m Mentor Mother services to women and children at USAID/PEPFAR SAFE facilities and surrounding communities in Copperbelt Province Phase 1 sites; supervise all Team Leads and Mentor Mothers; and monitor and ensure quality improvement of m2m services. This position will be responsible for enhancing stakeholders’ collaboration especially with Ministry of Health structures at Provincial, District and Facility levels, including community and private sector.

The position will be based in Ndola, Zambia.
