Detailed Job Description

• Supervising, coordinating and planning the activities of the production personnel operating the processing machines
• Make sure all machines are running in the approved cycle.
• Monitor the accuracy of the process setup during the shift.
• Troubleshoot problems and respond to machine alarms to improve production and reduce downtime.
• Stop production and/or delivery if necessary to correct quality issues.
• To ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of the plastics factory.
• Produce shift reports and toolbox meetings
• Make sure that the elements required for the job being performed are available on the workstation.
• Make sure operators and handlers keep work areas clean and tidy.
• Assistance with documentation required to track turnaround times.
• Monitor, measure and report on processes, performance and overall production.
• Report equipment problems to the maintenance department.
• Other assigned tasks

Desired Skills & Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Production & Operations Management or related or related.
• Minimum of 03 years experience in a production environment.
• Preferred experience in a plastic production plant.
• Understanding polymers, copolymers and technical materials.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to generate reports on time.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, & Enterprise resource plan (ERP) system.
