The School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Lecturers in the Nursing Department on full time basis

1. Lecturer (3)

To be considered for this position, one must have the following qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Diploma in Nursing
• A PhD in Nursing will be an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary level
• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ)

Summary of Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned courses
• Develop as well as improve course outings and teaching materials for the assigned courses
• Prepare lesson plans at the start of each semester for the assigned courses
• To supervise and mentor students in the clinical area
• Supervise students undertaking project work
• Carry out all appropriate administrative responsibilities and participate fully in quality assurance processes within the University
