Forlan Logistics Limited is a dynamic and progressive company looking to employ a Transport Manager with the vision, passion and commitment in effective planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, operation and dispatch of fleet vehicles. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with;

• Daily vehicle scheduling and weekly routes
• Efficient Asset utilization and Route Planning/Management.
• Supervision of Vehicle Inspection.
• Vehicle Performance monitoring, record keeping and improvement.
• Vehicle location tracking.
• Managing Drivers performance and educating them on compliance to procedures.
• Maintaining constant communication with drivers.
• Providing route and operations information and technologies.
• Report issues and bottlenecks detected in fleet operations to management proactively.
• Monitoring fleet’s performance and expenses.
• Primary contact concerning vehicle fleet and operations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Transport, business or related field.
• Transport and Logistics experience a must.
• Customer Service skills.
• Business management skills.
• Clearing & forwarding experience as an added advantage

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of fleet management, transport methods, costs and benefits.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with both drivers and clients.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good organization skills.
• Analytical thinking skills.
