MINE PLANNING ENGINEER
Mimbula Minerals Ltd is looking for well qualified and experienced individual to be considered for the positions of Mine Planning Engineer at its Mimbula Mine Site in Chingola, Copperbelt on a permanent and pensionable contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- More than 2 years’ Experience in ore body modelling
- A good understanding of a 3D-mine planning software – Surpac and Datamine
- A good understanding of a mine scheduling package – MineSched
- A good knowledge of a haul profile and fleet optimization packages
- Fluent in Microsoft office packages – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Powerpoint
- Be able to work in a dynamic team environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- GCE ‘O’ Level Grade 12 Certificate
- Atleast a Degree in Mining Engineering from a reputable University
- Both Member of EIZ and ERB a must
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven Previous experience of not less than 5 years in Open Cast mining as a Mine Planner
- Self-starter and hands on
