Position Summary
The Leasing & Collections Coordinator have 2 main responsibilities:
1) Assist the Leasing Administrators and Leasing Manager in driving the leasing activity for all GSM properties including responding to inquiries from prospective tenants, gathering completed applications and scheduling move-in orientations.
2) Provide collections assistance to tenants who are 0-30 days delinquent including outbound phone calls, emails and payment scheduling.
Qualifications
• Degree in relevant subject
• Have a passion for a sales/collections environment
• Computer literacy; ability to comfortably navigate new technology and a strong competency in MS Office
• Above average ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
• Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
• Foster teamwork and mutual respect throughout the company
Skills
• Represent Genstone Management to prospective residents in a courteous and professional manner with a focus on putting the customer first
• Send leases for signature and upload fully executed lease to the property management software
• Schedule move-in orientations
• Collect application fees, hold fees, initial funds and monthly rent payments
• Communicate any home condition feedback to the Senior Manager
• Work collaboratively with the Leasing Administrators to meet established leasing goals
• Work collaboratively with the Property managers to meet established collections goals
• Assist Leasing Administrators with lead follow-up while staying compliant with the restrictions applied to non-licensed employees.
