MAINTENANCE OFFICER – CARGO SCANNERS – ZRA06 (3)
Reporting directly to the Senior Maintenance Officer, you will provide first line support and maintenance, where prescribed of Cargo Scanners in ZRA ensuring that they are available to meet Customs Services business needs.
MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Carrying out monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance works
- Repairing scanners during breakdowns and validating the second level repairs that are done by Service Providers
- Making regular backups of images for each cargo scanner in the area
- Maintaining inventories for tools and spare parts for each cargo scanner
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade Twelve School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Equivalent
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering Information Technology or Mechanical related engineering
- Certified in X-Ray Scanners operation .
- A minimum of 4 years hands on X-Ray scanner machines experience preferably NUCTECH or Smith Detection X-Ray Systems,
- Certificate in Radiation Safety Training
- Valid Membership to Engineering Institute of Zambia
