Mobicom Africa Limited is looking to recruit outgoing and dedicated individuals who are interested in a rewarding career in sales to work as Insurance Sales Agents to be based in Lusaka and Kitwe. If you are a high-energy type of person, customer-focused, and have a strong desire to succeed in a sales driven environment, you might be the perfect candidate we are looking for!
The successful candidates will be responsible for marketing and selling of insurance policies, keeping a high knowledge of the existing products and learning about the new products, participating in sales campaigns and assist in the search of new potential clients.
Main Duties
- Meet with potential clients to discuss adequacy of existing insurance coverage and related financial resources.
- Explains various insurance policies and products to potential and existing clients; guides clients in selecting coverage to best meet their needs.
- Contact prospective clients about insurance products and policies
- Suggests modifications and updates to clients existing insurance policies.
- Building customized insurance policies and packages to meet client’s needs.
- Process insurance policy renewals.
- Assists clients with filing insurance claims.
- Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills Requirements
a) Knowledge of various insurance products and policies
b) Ability to determine best insurance policy for individual clients
c) Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
d) Ability to identify and contact prospective clients
e) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
f) Ability to take initiative and work independently
g) A confident and charismatic approach to people
Education and Experience
a) Grade 12 certificate
b) Certificate in any business-related field will be added advantage
c) Sales experience in insurance will be added advantage
Salary for this position is commission with a retainer. (Between k1000-k3000 minimum)
