Scope of work

Creation and implementation of HR systems and processes
Formulation of Company policies that need to be adhered
Update HR policies and inform employees on any such changes
Be updated of any changes in Zambian labor laws and have them implemented
Develop training and development programs
Facilitate performance appraisals for employees
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues accordance with the company employee manual and HR policies
Draft and Review employment contracts
Manage attendance and leave days for employees
Coordinate and manage the hiring process
Create and implement effective onboarding plans
Facilitate payroll processing and employee compensation. Knowledge in dove payroll system will be an added advantage
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience

Full grade twelve (12) certificate
Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
At least 5 years proven hands-on experience in Human resource management
Must have University degree in Human resource management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
Knowledge of HR functions
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
Proficient in MS Office packages
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Strong ethics and reliability
