Sales Officer IBAN Aquafish Solutions and Consultancy Limited

IBAN Aquafish supplies high quality and durable aquaculture equipment and materials. We also provide professional services such as training in fish farming, EIA/EPB preparations and implement fish farming projects. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales officer to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Maintain a daily inventory of stock
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Enter daily sales and purchases/expenses in the appropriate ledgers
• Generate daily and monthly sales report with analysis and recommendations

Key Skills and Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture/Marketing-related field of study from a recognized college or university.
• A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in Sales, Aquaculture or activities in an Enterprise Business setting.
• Solid knowledge of the channel and indirect sales; direct sales experience desirable.
• 3rd party partner management will be an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and numerical skills with strong business acumen.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• A self-motivated, multi-tasking individual with minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.
• Excellent written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
• Willingness to work long hours as and when required in accordance with business requirements.
• Creative and a forward thinker.
