WE ARE HIRING – SALES OFFICER
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic sales office to be stationed at our Lusaka office.
Key responsibilities
● Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
● Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
● Maintain a fully stocked store
● Maintain a daily inventory of stock
● Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
● Recommend and display items that match customer needs
● Manage point-of-sale processes
● Enter daily sales and purchases/expenses in the appropriate ledgers
● Generate daily and monthly sales report with analysis and recommendations
Key Skills and Qualifications
● The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture/Marketing-related field of study from a recognized college or university.
● A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in Sales, Aquaculture or activities in an Enterprise Business setting.
● Solid knowledge of the channel and indirect sales; direct sales experience desirable.
● 3rd party partner management will be an added advantage.
● Excellent negotiation, analytical and numerical skills with strong business acumen.
● Excellent planning and organizational skills
● A self-motivated, multi-tasking individual with minimum supervision.
● Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.
● Excellent written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
● Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
● Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
● Willingness to work long hours as and when required in accordance with business requirements.
● Creative and a forward thinker.
● Ability to operate in a performance-driven organization
