The roles and responsibilities of this position are as detailed below

  • Ensure that safety requirements are met at all times
  • Ensure our media assets represent the brand and face of the company, by being appropriately maintained.
  • Provide complete and accurate operational reporting to your operations supervisor
  • Ensure flighting of all client campaigns are consistently on time.
  • Ensure all media assets are maintained to the group quality standards.
  • Ensure maintenance of all structures are done on time
  • Ensure maintenance quality is maintained and appropriate photo checks are provided regularly to the sales team.
  • Review appropriate in-house maintenance requirements and ensure the appropriate timing and planning is provided.
  • All other duties of the Operations Department as allocated to you from time to time.
  • Correct illumination of existing sites, e.g. light focusing , Bulb Replacement, Power connection
  • Illuminate new sites timeously and correctly as per set standard including digital BBs
  • Ensure PRDs  are raised timely and correctly and  you have provided 3 quotations
  • Send bi- weekly reports for media illumination
  • Work with Ops team on flighting and maintenance jobs when required
  • Ensure all illuminated sites are properly wired and that there is proper distribution of lights to avoid spotting
  • Meet and establish relationships with Utility Companies
  • Weekly sessions with Ops Supervisor / Ops Planner
  • Clarity, accuracy and conciseness in verbal and written communication

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience as an electrician
  • Must be a Fitter
  • Experience as a Welder an added advantage
