Job Purpose

Zambezi Cashews Company Limited is a Company that is wholly owned by Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”). The commercial plantation is located in the Likonge-Nabala area of Mongu of the Western Province of Zambia. It seeks to establish a cashew processing plant at to add value to the cashew nuts produced at the plantation as well as third party cashew nut plantations from within the province. As part of its growth strategy, a need has arisen to fill the position of Human Resource and Administration Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities

a. Carry out the recruitment of staff.

b. Coordinating staff welfare.

c. Undertake all payroll related work and ensure payment of staff.

d. Management of disciplinary and grievance matters.

e. Manage all employee records.

f. Ensure that staff fully understand the company HR policies

g. Prepare all required HR reports

h. Manage employee training and development.

i. Manage staff separations.

j. Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

1. Must be 18 years and above.

2. Must have a Grade 12 certificate.

3. Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources Management or other relevant field.

4. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.

Competencies required for this Role

Should be a member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing license
