Business Development/Branch Manger Precision Recruitment

Overview

My client, a world leading freight, logistics, forwarding and storage business, is looking for a dynamic Business Development / Branch Manager for their Lusaka based office

As the Branch Manager your role will be split 60% commercial (business development) and 40% operational. You will be responsible for helping grow the business by finding and developing new markets and opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships with potential clients and leading your team. You will be required to co-ordinate and oversee all operations of the Office.

 

 

You’ll need to have:

  • tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
  • written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
  • teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work

  • the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
  • project management and organisational skills
  • negotiating skills
  • the ability to think strategically
  • initiative, confidence and energy

A bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field is required.
