Stores Administrator/Cashier Fidelity Labour Consultants

Position Title 2: Stores Administrator/Cashier

Location: Lusaka

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide support to Assistant Manager with the receiving of incoming stock items.
  2. Verifying the count of the incoming stock with invoices, purchase orders and inter stores voucher.
  3. Receiving/dispatching of container shipments/ orders
  4. Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly stock takes.
  5. Communicate any and all discrepancies to Assistant Manager.
  6. Ensure that stores are kept clean and neat at all times.
  7. Accurately and efficiently operate Cash registers / Cash box.
  8. Assist sales staff with invoicing and quotations wherever needed.
  9. Accurate completion of daily sales report and communication to direct superior.
  10. Maintain correct cash balances during shift.
  11. Process payments made with cash, cheque’s, credit cards, and debit cards
  12. Complete daily cash up, account for daily sales completed on cash, cheque, credit and card.
  13. Sort, count currency to ensure that the correct amount has been received.
  14. Escalate all credit note requests to direct superior.
  15. Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration/ Sales/ Marketing/ Bookkeeping or its equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience in automotive industry.
  2. Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above
  3. Strong communication and organizational skill
  4. Advanced hands on experience with MS Word and Excel
