Position Title 2: Stores Administrator/Cashier
Location: Lusaka
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to Assistant Manager with the receiving of incoming stock items.
- Verifying the count of the incoming stock with invoices, purchase orders and inter stores voucher.
- Receiving/dispatching of container shipments/ orders
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly stock takes.
- Communicate any and all discrepancies to Assistant Manager.
- Ensure that stores are kept clean and neat at all times.
- Accurately and efficiently operate Cash registers / Cash box.
- Assist sales staff with invoicing and quotations wherever needed.
- Accurate completion of daily sales report and communication to direct superior.
- Maintain correct cash balances during shift.
- Process payments made with cash, cheque’s, credit cards, and debit cards
- Complete daily cash up, account for daily sales completed on cash, cheque, credit and card.
- Sort, count currency to ensure that the correct amount has been received.
- Escalate all credit note requests to direct superior.
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration/ Sales/ Marketing/ Bookkeeping or its equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience in automotive industry.
- Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above
- Strong communication and organizational skill
- Advanced hands on experience with MS Word and Excel
