Job Purpose
The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for performing various sales and marketing duties that will include executing the full sales cycle, developing and sustaining a broad customer base of Corporate clients and expanding the Company’s market share in the sales of various IT and Electronic equipment. Develop and maintain relations with Corporate Key Accounts.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;
  • Soliciting and developing new business clients regularly as per agreed schedule
  • liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
  • Daily preparation of quotations, invoices and delivery note etc
  • Daily preparation of quotation log sheet capturing quotations received each day, the status of the quotation and date when to make follow ups.
  • Maintaining healthy and continuous business relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals stemming from field activity
  • Perform administrative work at the office such as orderly filing of documents, invoice, delivery notes, receipts etc.
  • Continuous research and understanding on company product offerings
  • Preparing tender documents and proof reading to ensure that all is in order
  • Answering switch board calls and continuous monitoring the sales email address to ensure all sales enquiries are responded to.
  • Deal with complaints from customers and escalate them accordingly.
  • Discover and handle concerns from customers;
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals stemming from field activity
  • Prepare a number of status reports, i.e. Daily, weekly, monthly and submit this report to the Senior Sales Executive
  • Follow-ups on payments
  • Occasionally arrange schedules on shipping and make delivery of merchandise as well as services

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing, ICT, and Business related studies
  • Sales and Marketing Work Experience in Office Consumables (i.e Computers, Printers, furniture)
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in the sales and marketing of Computers and Printers to NGOs, Government, Telecoms and Banks
  • Willingness to travel at short notice
  • A driver’s license is a must.
  • Must be a member of ZIM
