STORE MAN – X 01 NDOLA
PURPOSE: You will report directly to the Materials Controller who is in charge of the Materials (Stores) Department and you will be responsible for making sure that all company data is safe guarded and taken good care of, and you will be involved in providing information on stocking levels in the project as well as cost information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Must have a minimum of College Diploma or Higher Certificate purchasing and supply or IT related course with some practical experience working in the stores or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
- Have knowledge of ordering, receiving, storing and issuing procedures.
- Have knowledge to receive, review, and enter data into computer system or tracking database according to established procedures.
- Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident.
- Creative with ideas in stock controls.
- Able to work with other staff from other Departments, as well as the clients.
- Knowledge of food cost control principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
