WAITERS – X 04 NDOLA
PURPOSE: Make sure that the restaurant is always clean and the condiments are always replenished.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Minimum of a grade 12 certificate any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
- Should have practical experience working in a restaurant or bar.
- Able to show initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
- Able to interact with both personnel from other departments as well as the clients.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
- Must have Good written and oral communication skills in English language.
- Ability to listen and learn skills required in performing supervisory’ duties
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific duties of the waiter will be as set out below but not limited to:
- Assist service delivery in food service areas and ensure that these areas are maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
- Ensure that the food service areas are free of rodents and insects.
- Make sure that all equipment in the food service areas is in good working order at all times.
- Ensuring that food is served on time at the designated service areas.
- Supervise and help in the serving and portioning of food.
- Ensure that all tables have been set up properly in the mess/restaurant.
