FINANCE OFFICER (01) Lusaka – 1 year 6 Months Contract
We are looking to recruit a professional Finance Officer to be in charge of keeping track of project’s finances. The Finance Officer will be required to enter data into financial database, prepare financial statements, process invoices, and support project staff members throughout any accounting processes. The other tasks to include keeping appropriate documentation on payroll, bank transfers, Insurance contributions and payments, statutory obligations and invoices.
Reports to Finance and Administration Manager:
Qualifications, Minimum Skills and Experience required:
- Diploma in accountancy or related equivalent from a reputable institution.
- At least 1 – 2 years’ professional experience in finance.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software – QuickBooks, Pastel, Dove payroll.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good bank reconciliation skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience working in a non-governmental organisation and working with USAID funding a must or other donors will be an advantage.
