RETAIL AREA MANAGERS (04)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Regular full stock take and cash reconciliations as per assigned outlet and report any or shortages/frauds immediately to Internal Audit and their Regional Manager.
- Performing the duties of stock controller in the outlet. Monitor how stocks are moving in the assigned retail outlets and move transfer stock from one outlet to another to avoid stock going bad when it is slow moving in one outlet. Stock transfer will minimize stock losses and boost sales figures.
- Must be stationed at a particular outlet until the security provider has opened the safe and cash has been counted, as per stock take procedures and submit a report, including outlet loss calculation. The cash count must be indicated as counted on the stock take sheets and the Butchery Managers must countersign the sheets. More stock takes without counting the cash also to be conducted as mutually agreed with Regional Manager.
- Collecting of Weekly Trading Returns from outlets in his/ her area of supervision.
- Be the Human Resource / Retail Admin facilitation person between the outlet staff and the retailing office and to ensure that outlet staff follow the Zambeef standard operating procedures, have the required training, operating tools, appropriate protective clothing and are medically fit to perform duties in the outlet.
- Ensuring that outlets have valid statutory and licensing certificates and all the utility bills, license renewal fees and other operational levies are paid on time.
- Monitoring the display of all permits/certificates for the premises and staff.
- Monitor the ordering and displaying of products and ensure compliance by the outlets. Making sure that there are no stock outs or expired products being displayed.
- Perform any other duties that will be assigned to you by the Superior.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits.
- Certificate in business management/ accounts or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Must have computer skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, external parties.
- Able to fill in required documentation-daily reports.
- Strong, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Detailed process and analytical ability.
- Ability to work in pressured and deadline- driven operating environment.
- Valid driving License.
