Essential Information:
Deepen the bank’s Sales & trading at the interbank market for visibility and profitability
Reporting Relationships:
Functionally reports to the Head, Treasury Sales & Trading
Job Duties:
- Assist with the formulation of sales and trading strategies for trading activities
- Conduct the dealing/trading in interbank foreign exchange markets and Money Markets
- Selling existing and new FX products to internal and external clients
- Carry out proprietary trading on behalf of the bank
- Ensure all trading is done within profitability limits
- Monitor global currency markets for rates movements
- Manage and develop existing relationships between current customers and potential customers
- Conduct market Intelligence and analysis
- Analyze SBU performance
- Local and foreign market news dissemination
- Ensure prompt report generation for internal contacts as requested
- Meet and surpass customer needs on all sales and trading transactions
- Timely and efficient service delivery to customers
- Cross sell Treasury products to existing customers and prospect for new businesses
- Generate mandates and selling down lines created by funds management
Increase business volume of utilization of Treasury products

- Revenue Growth
- Business Volume on Forex Trading
- Accuracy of deal execution and capture in the system

- Level of compliance to regulatory regulations

Job Requirements & Knowledge:
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Foreign exchange market
- Trading Knowledge
- Financial Regulatory Laws
- Banking Laws
Application requirements:
- A First degree.
- Masters’ degree in Finance and other business-related disciplines and Professional qualification will be an added advantage
- At least 2 years’ work experience in Treasury
