The Ministry of Health (MOH) Cooperative Agreement supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) aims at supporting the Strengthening of the Ministry’s capacity to provide Leadership to the National HIV/AIDS Response through coordination, policy development, mentorship and training. MOH seeks to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to be appointed to the under listed positions under this project.

Job Purpose
To undertake the planning and implementation of ICT/Cyber Security and Forensic operations, security systems designs, implementation and reporting on all cyber forensic solutions, services, standards and guidelines in order to ensure trust, confidentiality, integrity and availability of Ministry of Health ICT/Cyber Infrastructure, Systems and Services as well as manage cyber forensic incidents.
Responsibilities/Principal Accountabilities
- Effectively undertakes the physical, technical and operational security activities to ensure safety, confidentiality, integrity and availability of ICT infrastructure, systems and services.
- Effectively undertake cyber forensic activities in order to determine and address cyber related incidents.
- Effectively undertakes the design and/or implementation of cyber forensic solutions/technologies/tools and services in order to ensure effective deployment and management of cyber solutions/technologies.
- Coordinate effectively the assignment and monitoring of cyber security work plans to provincial ICT staff in order to evaluate, determine and improve cyber security standards in the Ministry.
- Effectively undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor that may not be specified and yet are in the interest of the Ministry and the Government.
- Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations and standards in the section.
Qualifications
- A Full Grade Twelve (12)/Form 5 School Certificate with five credits or better with English and Mathematics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent ICT related field
- Certification in Cyber Security/Forensics or equivalent.
- CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+ Certifications an advantage.
- Certification in Cyber Security/Forensics or equivalent, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+ Certifications an advantage.
- Experience and skills
- Five (5) years working experience, three (3) of which should be at technical and security operations level
- Ability to write technical reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
