The Ministry of Health (MOH) Cooperative Agreement supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) aims at supporting the Strengthening of the Ministry’s capacity to provide Leadership to the National HIV/AIDS Response through coordination, policy development, mentorship and training. MOH seeks to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to be appointed to the under listed positions under this project.

Location: Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI)
Job Purpose
To undertake development, installation and review of appropriate Information, Communication and Technology tools in order to support the operations of ZNPHI as well as facilitate accessibility to efficient flow of information.
Responsibilities/Principal Accountabilities
• Assist in monitoring that Local Area Networks installed in conformity to Smart Zambia standards and guidelines
• To implement timely, development and review of ICT systems and deployment protocols in order to ensure functional and user-friendly systems at Zambia National Public Health Institute

• Undertakes user training at all levels in ICT technologies and change management programmes in order to enhance skills development among users.
• Conduct regularly, service and maintenance of eHealth technologies in order to prevent/minimize loss of data and ensure reliability
• Conduct effectively the provision of end-user support services to the Ministry staff in order to enhance systems usability
• Undertake to develop a disaster recovery plan (DRP) as well as business continuity plan (BCP) to avoid and recover from potential disasters
Qualifications
• A Full Grade Twelve (12)/Form 5 School Certificate with five credits or better with English and Mathematics
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent ICT related field
• Certification in Cyber Security/Forensics or equivalent, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+ Certifications an advantage.
• Experience and skills
• Five (5) years working experience, three (3) of which should be at technical and security operations level
• Ability to write technical reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
