To provide 24/7 real-time network monitoring, control, and management of the LTZM network to ensure customer service support within set SLAs to achieve high network availability and quality of service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse network trends and performance statistics
- Generate & analyze network performance reports and recommend changes to Engineering in liaison with 2nd Line Support and NOC manager
- Provides 1st line technical support in the network operations center.
- Analyze network trend and propose network change where necessary
- Generate Network incidents and Change request, update and resolve accordingly
- Provide support to account management and service delivery teams
- Graphing of customer links on Monitoring tools such as Intermapper and Cacti
- Timely response to customer complaints, provide timely updates and resolve incident in a timely manner
- Provide phone line support to calling in customers and field engineers
- Sending notifications to internal and external clients in a critical or general failure
Candidate requirements
- Degree Or Diploma in Telecoms/Electronics/Computer Science
- Minimum CCNA Certification
- CCNP certification
- EIZ member
