The National Muscums Board is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Tourism, established by an Act of Parliament Chapter 174 of 1966 of the Laws of Zambia. Therefore, the Board is now inviting suitably qualified Zambians to fill in the following vacant positions:
Station: Copperbelt Museum, Ndola
ASSISTANT KEEPER OF GEOLOGY
Reporting to the Keeper, the officer will be responsible for assisting and facilitating planning for conducting research, collection acquisitions, collection documentation, curatorial services, exhibition mounting, inventory, publications and de-accessioning in order to enhance preservation and dissemination of knowledge.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 full certificate with 6 credits including English, or its equivalent
MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BSc in Ceology
MAJOR SKILLS
Research skills, and Inter-personal skills
OTHER SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Analytical skills, computer literacy and excellent communication skills (written and oral)
