The National Muscums Board is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Tourism, established by an Act of Parliament Chapter 174 of 1966 of the Laws of Zambia. Therefore, the Board is now inviting suitably qualified Zambians to fill in the following vacant positions:
Station: Lusaka National Museum, Lusaka and Choma Museum and Crafts Centre, Choma
PERSONAL SECRETARY (2 positions)
Reporting to the Director, the Personal Secretary will be responsible for planning, facilitating and coordinating all secretarial and office management of the Director’s office to enhance performance.
MINIMUMACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 full certificate with 6 credits including English, or its equivalent
MINIMUM VOCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/Certificate in Secretarial duties with 100-65 words per minute in Shorthand Typewriting speeds.
MINIMUM RELEVANT PRE-JOB EXPERIENCE
3 years’ work experience
MAJOR SKILLS
Shorthand Typewriting skills, office etiquette skills, communication skills (written and oral), computer literacy skills and public relations skills
OTHER SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Courteous and tactful, confidentiality and good interpersonal skills.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Must be a member of Professional Secretaries Association of Zambia.
