The National Museums Board is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Tourism, established by an Act of Parliament Chapter 174 of 1966 of the Laws of Zambia. Therefore, the Board is now inviting suitably qualified Zambians to fill in the following vacant positions:
Station: Lusaka National Museum, Lusaka
PROCUREMENT OFFICER
The Officer will be reporting to the Assistant Administrative Officer and will be responsible for managing procurement processes to facilitate smooth operations of the institution.
MINIMUMACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 full certificate with 6 credits including English, or its equivalent
MINIMUM VOCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or its equivalent
MINIMUM RELEVANT PRE-JOB EXPERIENCE
2 years’ work experience
MAJOR SKILLS
Communication skills (written and oral), negotiation skills, and analytical skills
OTHER SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Interpersonal skills.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
