Assistant Financial Accountant

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports.
  • Preparation of payments and submission of all statutory returns such as Napsa, Nhima, Paye, Vat, Itx, PLevy.
  • Preparation of annual audits.
  • Ensure daily recording of transactions into Sage Partner and Sage Evolution Fixed Assets Register.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Customers and Suppliers Recons
  • Invoicing Sales and receiving purchases into the accounting system.
  • Inventory management
  • Payroll preparations using Dove payroll

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA II, CIMA II, ZICA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Demonstrated strong financial and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office,Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Member of ZICA a must
