We are looking for a Field Service Technician. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability. Technicians are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with various clients and are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions to them.
Responsibilities
- Installation/upgrading of CCTV, Access Control, LAN and Electronic/Electrical equipment in various field locations
- Configuring hardware and software components after installation
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Training customers on how to use the equipment
- Build positive relationships with customers
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Technical Diploma or Certification - 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
