Job Summary: The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and drive sales. The role involves working closely with the sales team to identify target markets and develop campaigns to engage with potential customers. The marketing officer will be responsible for building a sales team as necessary and should be able to lead by example in the following areas:
- Prospecting and lead generation; identifying potential customers and initiating contact with them in order to generate new leads.
- Qualifying leads; follow up with the potential customer to determine if they are a good fit for the company’s products or services once a lead has been generated.
- Sales presentations and demonstrations; create and deliver presentations and product demos to prospective customers in order to showcase the benefits of the company’s products or services.
- Negotiating and closing deals; negotiating with potential customers in order to close deals and secure new business for the company.
- Account management; managing the ongoing relationship with the customer, ensuring that they are satisfied with the company’s products or services and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise after a deal has been closed.
- Sales reporting and forecasting; reporting on sales activities and results, as well as forecasting future sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify target markets and develop customer personas.
- Develop and manage social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the company’s website.
- Manage the company’s website and create content to engage with potential customers.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
- Develop and manage partnerships with industry influencers and media outlets to increase brand visibility.
- Analyze marketing data to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials, such as case studies, whitepapers, and presentations.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers and partners.
- Work closely with the product development team to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with product development timelines and goals.
- Undertake any other assignments from supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including branding, positioning, and customer engagement.
- Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write and create compelling content.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing marketing data to drive campaign success.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for technology and the ability to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry.
