What you would be expected to do:
Hub Administrative activities
- Creation/editing of users, SMS setups, archiving of inactive Field Sales Executive, HUB related Field Sales Executive issues as requested
- Angaza related technical activities
- Escalation and follow-ups on the resolution of Field Sales Executive Activators or HUB error messages and technical problems
- Suggests software improvements or process changes
- Raises tickets to Angaza and follow up on resolution
- Escalating of Kazi related issues and helping resolve them
Customer Facing
- Provide field assistance to Sales Team, Call Centre & Sun King Store .
- Management of Mobile device management platforms.
- Ensure proper configuration of PAYG Agent and customer phones.
- Project Management
- Create a detailed project plan tracking the progress of project activities and tasks
- Document every project and learnings for closer follow up
- Being a link to the other depts and coordinating complex projects and being the go-to person for any clarities
Field visits
- Ensures field visits are done on a monthly basis at least
- Gets feedback from Energy Officers/Area Business Managers/Regional Business Managers on issues faced in the field
- Reports feedback and ensure follow-ups are acted upon
- Improvements: Owning and Improving Processes (current and future)
- Contract books collection and digitalization ( e.g. issuance and collection of contract booklets signed by customers).
- Work hand in hand with Shop managers across the country in collecting signed contract books and do reverse logistics from the agents back to a central warehouse for archiving.
- Conducting field pilots for the new products/services in the field after testing.
- New products testing both in the office and the field. He / She will be tasked in ensuring all tests for the new products released with both hardware and software functionalities.
You might be a strong candidate if you:
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management; Project Management; Business Administration; Sales and Marketing; Customer Service Management or have a minimum of two years working in a field sales role in the FMCG, microfinance, banking, or telecom industries;
- Are passionate about positively impacting the lives of rural consumers;
- Possess excellent IT skills at the advanced level of computer skills.
- Must have good problem-solving abilities
- Able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
