Standards Administrator (X1)

Reports to: Standards Engineer

Job Overview:

The role of the job is to assist in implementation of the company’s management system based on relevant international standards and regulations. This is attained by monitoring performance and compliance to requirements, regulations, and procedures in all departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade twelve (12) certificate.
  • Minimum Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Project Management, or its equivalent
  • Experience working with standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
  • Formal training in Internal Auditing (QMS) an added advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Minimum of Three (3) years’ work experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Accountabilities

  • Supports development and review of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Conducts plant inspections, internal audits and monitor closures.
  • Facilitates staff internal training and seminars on QMS.
  • Assists in coordinating management review meetings.
  • Maintains effective liaison with the core team.
  • Compiles reports on progress of the management system
