Sales Development Representative Bookworld

We are a leading stationery company specializing in high-quality office and school supplies. We cater to a diverse range of B2B clients and are currently seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about sales and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and generate leads for the sales team.
  • Utilize various channels such as phone calls, emails, and social media to engage potential B2B clients.
  • Qualify leads by conducting effective needs analysis and understanding their business requirements.
  • Educate potential clients about our products, services, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with leads in a timely manner and nurture relationships to move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively communicate key differentiators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Knows how to use a computer efficiently
  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g.HubSpot) and experience in managing customer data.
  • Familiarity with basic sales concepts and a keen interest in developing sales skills further.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about our product offerings and industry trends.
