We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our establishment, which includes a women’s gym, a spa, a retail shop, and a healthy food cafe. Position: Facility Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Overall Management: Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the women’s gym, spa, retail shop, and healthy food café.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of dedicated professionals, including trainers, spa therapists, admin staff, marketing staff, café personnel and other staff.
3. Facility Maintenance: Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and fully functional, including fitness equipment, spa facilities, retail space, and café area.
4. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas requiring improvement.
5. Customer Experience: Focus on providing an exceptional experience for our customers by maintaining high standards of service and addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
6. Staff Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and ensure their ongoing professional development.
7. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control for the retail shop and café, including stock replenishment, ordering, and managing vendor relationships.
8. Budget Management: Manage the budget for facility-related expenses, including equipment, supplies, and contracted services.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other regulations impacting the various areas of the business and maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities.
10. Continuous improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, implementing innovative solutions as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3years and above) as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a fitness, spa or hospitality environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple amenities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Focus on providing an exceptional experience for our customers by maintaining high standards of service and addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Degree in Hotel Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration or related fields.
