Necor Zambia Limited is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the position of Chief Accountant.
Qualifications
1. Formal accounting qualification – Full ACCA, ZICA or CIMA.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in management.
Responsibilities
1. Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
2. Perform cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
3. Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with operations departments in analysing margins, variances and cost analysis.
4. Preparation of monthly and annual statutory returns.
5. Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
6. Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
7. Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
8. Provide Audit information and preparation of requested documents.
9. Generate financial reports and statement to management for review.
10. Conducting any other activities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
