RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring completed Trucks are available for dispatch in a timely manner
Ensuring the integrity of data in the company vehicle maintenance spreadsheets
Daily workshop planning and setting up new tasks to make sure all vehicles and machines are in good condition at all times.
Managing the workshop turnaround time.
Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports to be sent to top management
Responsible for processing all vehicle repair estimates and ensuring efficient follow up on outstanding tasks
Identifying discrepancies and taking appropriate action to stop re-ocurrences
Maintaining physical and digital records and files
Perform route cause analysis and prepare reports on all incidents and other unforeseen events
Maintaining service schedule records
REQUIRMENTS
5 years’ experience in a busy Workshop in a management position
Experience in work scheduling and planning
Extensive knowledge of all MS Office software, particularly MS Excel
Self-motivated and a fast learner who enjoys a varied role
Ability to communicate effectively and Proactive in approach to work
Ability to develop and build relationships across all levels from management to junior staff
Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
Capable of working to deadlines
Ability to identify and effectively solve problems
Diploma or better in Auto mechanics/ engineering or similar field
