The Company Seeks the Services of Artisan Electrical x2

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repair and installation work on electrical equipment.

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

1. Ensuring optimum availability of equipment.
2. Examining electrical installations and determine faults and state of repairs required including the parts and materials needed for the repair works.
3. Ensuring that tools/equipment used for electrical installations are kept in appropriate places after operations.
4. Conducting planned and adhoc plant maintenance to plant and equipment in accordance with job card instructions and the drawing.
5. Utilizing correct materials and consumables according to specifications and location.
6. Ensuring Lock Out Tag Procedures are always followed where applicable.
7. Displaying work progress/delays for attention/action.
8. Preventing injury to personnel and safe guard company property.
9. Ensuring compliance to the Health, Safety and Environment standards/Policy.
10. Participating in effective pre-start meetings to safely achieve the work of the shift ahead.
11. Adhering to all other assignments given that are lawful and fair.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Grade 12 Certificate.
2. Craft Certificate in Electrical.
3. Valid Membership of EIZ/ERB.
4. Technician Certificate in Electrical will be an added advantage.
5. Holder of a valid First Aid Certificate
6. High level of integrity and ability to meet deadlines
7. Must be physically fit and with necessary dexterity to work with tools.
8. Good oral & written communication skills.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
