We are looking to hire a Business Development Associate who will be responsible for supporting TopFloor to driving revenue and bottom-line value by sourcing new clients and by managing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an awareness of company products and relevant sales techniques to ensure that sales of the whole organisation are carried out as effectively as possible;
- Achieve required sales profitability, growth and expansion in market by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services;
- Support the update and/or creation of marketing and communication collateral for existing and new products;
- Undertake marketing initiatives to offer best exposure of all of TopFloor’s services;
- Implement business and operational strategies as per the company’s strategy;
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring business opportunities;
- Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Develop clear and effective documentation (proposals, quotations, RFP’S, RFQ’S etc.) for current and prospective customers across all of TopFloor’s services.
- Coordinate client requirements and TopFloor’s service offering by developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements;
- Ensure existing clients are satisfied through after-sales care, by obtaining service process feedback using provided tools;
- Support innovation of service and product lines based on market trends and needs;
- Support the business development, marketing and service delivery effort with other departments/staff;
- Represent the company at industry associations and outside committees.
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be aligned to the values of the TopFloor brand;
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Commerce;
- Should have at least 1 year of experience with provable track record in a similar role;
- Should have demonstrable skill in the use of MS Office skills (Word, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint);
- Should understand how to use the Google based work systems (Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive).
- Must be intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human resource services in order to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services;
- Should demonstrate a practical approach to business development and relationship management;
- Should have ability to plan, be organised and manage time and deadlines effectively;
- Should be able to communicate and relate with colleagues and clients at different levels of management from different cultures;
- Should possess demonstrable communication (written, verbal and non-verbal) and self-leadership skills.
