Technical Support & Store Management Officer

We are looking for a skilled Technical Support & Store Management Officer to provide technical assistance and support to our technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for offering technical guidance, resolving technical systems issues, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring seamless operations. Additionally, you will oversee store management duties, including inventory control, supply management, and maintaining an organized environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians regarding our GPS tracking system
  • Assist technicians in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, offering clear and concise technical solutions.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of the GPS tracking device and related software.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to provide technical product information, pricing details, and specifications to potential clients.
  • Manage store inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and placing orders when necessary.
  • Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and professional environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote synergy between technical support and store management functions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and product updates to provide accurate and relevant support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in technical support, preferably in the GPS tracking or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GPS tracking systems, network configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, inventory management systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Lusaka, Zambia.
