Planner – Role Outputs
- Prepare quotes, invoices and plan all maintenance work on SAP
- Perform procurement functions,
- Prepare reports as required
- Manage parts inventory on MARC site
- Prepare and oversee proposals to customers
- Perform site audits on equipment, Assist with warranty resolution
- Attend site meetings, customer meetings and other relevant meetings when required
- Provide technical support to customers
- Provide logistical support to service support technicians
- Assist customers with internal planning processes,
- Assist customers with service planning, outage planning and spares BOM’s
- Perform the function as “Technical Communicator” on the CAT DSN system
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Qualified relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Service Technician
- SAP proficient, experience on planning modules,
- Basic management qualification an advantage,
- Knowledge of MS project and other MS office programs,
- Warranty and quality admin experience,
- Willingness to travel, Medically fit,
- Drivers License
