The LUSAKA APEX MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (LAMU) is a privately owned University, accredited by the Higher Education Authority under the Higher Education Amendment Act No. 23 of 2021 to provide Higher Education in Medical Education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). Lusaka Apex Medical University is therefore looking for a mature, proactive, and highly motivated and result oriented Zambian with high degree of credibility to fill the following positions:
FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY
1. Anatomy Lecturer (1)
- Master of Science Degree in Human Anatomy from a registered/ accredited University
- MBChB and PhD in the field of Anatomy an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching / research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- 2 years teaching experience at a university.
2. Physiology Lecturer (1 )
- Master of Science Degree in Human Physiology from a registered/ accredited University
- MBChB and PhD in the field of Physiology an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching / research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
3. Behavioral Science Lecturer (1)
- Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology or Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychiatry or related science from a registered/ accredited University or
- MBChB and PhD in the field of Psychology or Psychiatry an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching / research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
4. Pharmacology Lecturer (1)
- Master of Science Degree in Pharmacology from a registered / accredited University
- Degree in Pharmacy
- MBChB and PhD in the field an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching /research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer Literate- Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
5. Pharmacology Tutor (1)
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacology from a registered/ accredited University
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching /research experience of not less than 1 year in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
