Onelife is licensed by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) specializing mainly in the corporate health sector but keen to expand into more individual business both in the health and life insurance sectors, requires a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, highly credible, and suitably qualified individual to fill the vacant position of Sales Executive (1) based in Lusaka.
Job Description Summary
- Compile and update prospects and pipeline business with set monthly targets.
- Develop a detailed one-year new business plan for the line manager’s approval.
- Report on monthly sales progress.
- Manage portfolio of clients –members, students, employer groups and brokers of all schemes administered by the company.
- Provide product knowledge training of schemes to all clients identified above.
- Information dissemination to clients and conduct presentations on educational talks to ensure members understand benefits.
- Contact clients to establish if there are membership and customer service issues.
- Conduct research and identify areas of improvement.
- Conduct competitor and market trend analysis.
- Sales presentation to local and regional companies.
- Sell the One Life products to agreed standards.
- On-going relationship building with all stakeholders (internal & external).
- Investigate client queries within the agreed service level and ensure that client receives feedback on time.
- Escalate client queries to the relevant department or stakeholders.
- Provide accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders to ensure that the client receives the appropriate after sales services.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client expectations are managed.
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within their area of responsibility.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’ degree in Business related field. Degree in Insurance and Marketing is an added advantage.
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
- Proven record of previous sales and management experience is a must.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar sales role.
- Experience in selling Life Assurance products is an added advantage.
