Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager will be the lead expert in providing oversight and coordination in the design, monitoring, evaluation and strategy development for the Stop GBV now Project .The MEAL Manager will provide technical leadership to develop the project framework, plans and indicators to capture performance results and provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Support management and accountability through routine, accurate collection and reporting of information that confirms status of program activities based on the Logframe.
- Ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes.
- Provide overall technical support to develop monitoring tools and build the capacity of project field staff in the use of these tools.
- Develop quality control systems and mechanisms needed to guarantee proper management of information and data.
- Documenting and disseminating project successes and challenges in relation to project targets
- Provide input in developing professional communication materials to share findings with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to the project.
- Collaborating with other team members in the aggregation of reports for various interventions with a view to identify key research needs and areas requiring further insight.
Required qualifications and experience
- Masters in Statistics, Biostatics ,Demography, Public Health, Project Management, or any related field.
- Proven 5 years experience in designing and implementing M&E systems and tools in development projects.
- Good command of data Analysis tools like Strata ,SPSS and excel.
- Ability to write, clearly, coherently, and articulate complex issues.
- Good team leading skills and ability to design and coordinate surveys.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Progressive experience in designing, establishing, and managing monitoring and evaluation systems, ensuring data quality, and managing data intensive, performance-based programs (preferably funded by PEPFAR)Demonstrated ability to be the senior technical specialist and as a senior subject matter expert in data analytics
- Demonstrated ability to perform robust data extraction from internal and external information systems
