Tabomango Nursery and Primary School [TNPS] was established in October 2021 and registered to offer quality education from Nursery up to Primary Grade Seven. Our Mission is “Peace and Tranquility While Shaping the Child to Develop Intellectual Capacity.”

Vacancy Position:     Pre-School Teacher

We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to ease children’s transition into organized education. The Pre-School Teacher will teach the children important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To design and submit schemes of work for each term before commencement thereof;

2. To comprehensively extrapolate and submit weekly / termly lesson plans without fail;

3. To ensure quality lesson delivery and validation processes thereof;

4. To deliver quality learner performance and aptitude;

5. To organize all teaching aids prior to opening of new term;

6. On-going preparation of learners’ work in their exercise books where necessary;

7. Record, keep and submit all leaners’ records, attendance, tests and examinations to the School Manager / Head Teacher for review and authentication;

8. Take full responsibility for children’s safety in the class;

9. Employ a best-practices-approach-to-work attitude;

10. Take ownership of self-development and growth;

11. Any other lawfully relevant duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Knowledge of best practices and pre-school educational methods as well as the ability to engage the children and earn their trust and attention;

2. At least three (3) years working experience in a reputable School;

3. Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms;

4. Excellent communication and instructional skills;

5. Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 Credit or better;

6. Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development.

7. Must be registered and licensed with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)

8. Must hold high levels of integrity and professionalism.
