Job Scope | Duties
The Human Resource Manager will manage all HR duties but with a primary focus on developing and implementing Training and Development programs to improve individual and organizational performance for Impact’s current and new staff.
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for such tasks as the below:
-Planning – Identifying and assessing current training needs through a training needs analysis and consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
-Coordinating – The role will coordinate all training and development activities but more importantly, partner with all managers and internal and external stakeholders.
-Monitoring & Evaluating Training and Reporting – Monitor and evaluate the Training and Development program’s effectiveness and success and report on the effectiveness.
-Develop intuitive training styles and systems that are project-specific
Qualifications:
The candidate must meet all of the below qualifications:
-Exceptional English communication skills.
-Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, or Business Administration.
-Minimum 3-5 years experience in HR management or relevant experience
-Must be a registered and active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management or similar body.
-Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel (Practical test will be administered before the interview)
-Average typing speed of at least 40 WPM (Practical test will be administered before the interview)
-Ability to think critically and handle conflicts.
-Superb attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
-Keen interest in the ICT sector and working with start-up businesses.
-Good judgment, planning, and organizational skills.
Additional valuable qualifications include:
-Entrepreneurship experience in business planning
-IT network administration training
-Experience working with foreign companies in the United States, Canada, Europe, or Australia.
-Experience in youth IT, project education, coaching, and mentorship.
