Duties and Responsibilities
Procure timely required goods, works and services in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and the Public Procurement Regulations.
Preparation and implementation of procurement plan for efficient and effective operations and adherence to budget.
Preparation of solicitation documents, evaluates and recommends for contract award to successful bidders in e-GP system.
Preparation of Procurement Committee papers for goods, services and work and provide administrative activities to the procurement committee
Preparation of draft contracts for review by the supervisor and the Legal department to ensure that the contracts adequately reflect the interests of the company.
Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.
Preparation and maintenance of accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence and related follow-up.
Perform contract administration, including liaison between suppliers and user departments in compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Prepare accurate routine procurement and special reports required by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Full Grade Twelve Certificate
2. Bachelors of Purchasing and Supply or MCIPS Graduate Diploma or equivalent
3. Member of the Zambia institute of Purchasing and supply
4. Three years’ experience in a similar role preferably in public sector.
5. Knowledge of a wide range of Public Procurement laws, regulations and procedures.

Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
