The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to join the Imaging Team as a Radiographer to provide a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to the patients and contributing to their well- being.
Radiographer
Summary of Job Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Mammogram and more.
Ensure the safety, comfort, and understanding of patients during examinations.
Operate and maintain state-of-the-art radiographic equipment.
Collaborate with medical professionals, students, and researchers to provide accurate imaging services.
Participate in teaching and training programs for radiography students and medical residents.
Maintain strict adherence to ethical, safety, and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Radiography from a recognized Institution.
Fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia.
Knowledge and Practical skill of Ultra Sound examinations is a prerequisite Practical knowledge of CT scan examinations is an added advantage.
Minimum of Two (2) years relevant work experience.
Experience in both the clinical and technical aspects of medical imaging practice
Knowledge of current developments and world trends in medical imaging.

Knowledge of radiation safety and research ethics
